  Is it possible to start the midi clock without launching any of the features?

I am using my NDLR as my master clock because it has the most stable clock of my entire setup. 

I want to be able to start the clock (press "play") but NOT start the pads, drone, or motifs. I want those to ALWAYS be manually engaged. 

Is there a setting to change the play button to work this way? Or something else?

  Midi start/stop output option seems bugged?

I might just be misunderstanding this feature.

I assumed the midi start/stop output setting sent only midi start/stop signals. 

I assume that if I set midi start/stop output to "all" that it should not interact with the midi assignments for drone, pad, and motifs. 

But when I set the midi start/stop output to "all" it wildly interferes with what is being sent to the other midi outs. It seems like the start/stop output is sending notes also! 

My NDLR is ths most ROCK SOLID midi clock of my entire setup and my Blofeld depends on this, otherwise it "clicks" eg as Ableton tempo drifts. But I need NDLR to output start/stop to usb AND midi without interacting otherwise. Is that possible?

  Sending Program Changes to external synth

Is it possible to send a Program Change message to one of the DIN MIDI ports?

I understand that I can set up 2 CC messages assigned to 2 encoders, and this works. I did not find anything about Program Changes though. Wondering if it is technically possible.

  Love my NDLR! But chord buttons II and VI not working when un-shifted

I use this powerful little arpeggio magic box every day!  But just today I noticed that chord buttons II and VI no longer change the chord.

They do work when I shift-click them, so this feels like a software issue.

I'll be honest and say everything felt peachy until the recent update. Since then I have had notes sticking, heard clicking in some of the loops, and now this button issue. Before the recent firmware update I NEVER had a stuck note and never needed to use the panic button. Now I use it regularly. 

Please help!

  Midi notes generate click sounds in synth

Hi i'm enjoying the NDLR a lot.

Here are some findings.

1. I'm getting a click sound for 30% when a midinote arrives in my Microvolt 3900.
If i set my ADSR in the Microvolt 3900 with a slow attack i still hear a click coming in. This only happens with the NDLR at the moment. Other devices don't create this click such as the arturia keystep.

You can hear it in the beginning of this track. You hear that the microvolt is not really clean.

2. Other thing is. The sequencer plays low notes on some numbers. So if i make steps 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14. Then the 9 and 11 create a lower note than numbers 1 2 4 5 6. Its like it jumps an octave.

3. It would be nice if the LFO's that im sending that go to midi inputs of other devices start doing their LFO-ing when i start playing all or a motive, pad or drone. 


Maybe one of these things were allready found.
Maybe one of these things allready have a solution.

  Syncing motifs / muting and unmuting via external MIDI

In my first week of playing with the NDLR, I didn’t realized that the motifs are paused and started, not muted and unmuted. While this is interesting, I’m trying to figuring out the best way to “mute” and “unmute” my four parts while keeping everything in synch if desired when sequencing the NDLR from an external piece of gear - my Cirklon in this case. 

I could map out each of the four parts via CC’s and pause/unpause them, or I could map a CC for the global start/stop which puts everything in sync. Are those my only options? Is there a better way or workaround? Is there any way to “mute” parts and keep the motifs in sync? [I have thought about using CC’s to control the master volume of the 4 synths I have the NDLR connected to]
