Welcome to our Newsletter!

It’s spring, and it’s still rainy and cold here in Portland Oregon, but that doesn’t stop us from moving forward, working on new and exciting inventions to enhance your music creation experience. In the meantime, we’ve got some news on existing products.

In this inaugural issue: MRCC Firmware Update, MRCC Remote 7 in stock, MRCC 2U Rack Ears in stock, and The NDLR Secret Sale! 🤫

MRCC – MIDI Router Control Center Firmware Update

A firmware update for the MRCC was released in early March ’23. If you haven’t updated in a while, get this one.

MRCC Remote 7 Back in Stock

If you were waiting for the Remote 7, they are back in stock in our shop, and on the way to your favorite Conductive Labs resellers. The newest version of the Remote 7 has an added power indicator to make configuration a little easier, and to help determine if you have a compatible Ethernet cable (if it didn’t come from us).

2U Rack Ears Back in Stock

We ran out of 2U Rack Ears briefly, but more have just arrived. Resellers may still have some in stock or will have soon.

Who NEEDS The NDLR?

We know some of you are anxiously awaiting a new batch of The NDLR. Well, we have a small inventory of The NDLR, brand new units that we held on to for warranty replacements. We haven’t needed many replacements over the years, so we’re going to make some of them available to our most valued peoples, that’s you!

Now keep your britches on, this is a bit of a long story…

We want you to know that we’re working on a new batch of The NDLR, to be available later this summer. The new one we call “revision 2” because we had to change some stuff internally. To help you decide if you want to wait for the new one or not, here are the differences:

  • There is a new microcontroller in the new revision because the original is not available.
  • The intent is to keep revision 1 and revision 2 models at feature parity. However, the new one has more processing power, so there is some small chance we’ll have an idea to use that extra performance for something in the future. But to be perfectly frank, after 5 years of updates we are very satisfied with The NDLR feature set as it stands, and we don’t want to over complicate it. Thousands of customers are still showing a lot of enthusiasm for The NDLR, it is quite unique in the world of MIDI sequencers!
  • The new revision will come in a different color scheme, and it will be powder coated aluminum instead of brushed anodized aluminum.
  • We’ve added a power button on the back. Otherwise, it is the same user interface.
So here’s the plan:
  • Starting at approximately 9:00 am PDT (4:00 pm GMT) on April 28th, 2023, we’ll have a “secret sale” of The NDLR at a $50 USD discount from the regular $379 price, that’s $329 USD + shipping*
*Plus VAT, taxes, and/or fees charged by your Country or carrier that are out of our control.
  • Orders to the USA and Canada will ship from our USA office and will have a flat shipping fee (see cart).
  • Orders outside of the USA will ship from our Hong Kong Warehouse, and there will be some choices for shipping that varies with destination.
  • Sales are first come, first served. One The NDLR per household. Quantities are limited to about 30 units and we expect they will go fast, so don’t hesitate if you want one.
  • Make sure your PayPal address is correct before placing the order. Due to PayPal rules, we can’t change the address they send us after the order is placed. So if the address is wrong, the order would have to be canceled which may leave you waiting for the next batch.
  • We think most of them are black faceplate versions, but some could be a dark blue, it will be a surprise!

Orders cannot be placed until the sale starts at 9am PDT, 4:00pm GMT on April 28th. Please do not share the link or password, we want our subscribers to have the first chance at getting a NDLR. When they are sold out, it will show Out of Stock on the page.
