My unit started to loose the center information and goes black.
If I touch any button or rotate any encoder, the center is showed and the next second it goes black again.

One day, a monk was cultivating some medicinal herbs for himself and his brothers of the order in the monastic garden.
The monk had discovered something glorious in these herbs, and shared it with his brethren that evening, to which they all achieved a sense of transcendence.
The next morning, his brothers awoke to find their fellow monk to have gone missing. They searched the monastery high and low; until they proceeded outside to the garden to see if the monk was preparing another batch of herbs for a return journey in splendor.
When the his brothers arrived at the garden’s gate entrance, they saw not their monk, who had voluntarily chosen to live his life out in contemplation, having hitherto left behind the pleasures of society. But, in his place, a small stone statue in the what could only be described as its perfect form of what he unearthed that day.

Just received my NDLR, so apologies if I'm overlooking anything with this request. 

I would love to be able to use extended chords. 9ths, 11ths, sus4+7th, etc. are all really useful to me. 

On that note, a way to customize what chord types are used in the "alt" modes (and letting these options extend beyond just 7ths) would go a long way toward what I'm looking for.


In any case, I'm literally 45 min into exploring this thing, so I have plenty to keep me occupied for the time being. Thanks for making this device!

Has anyone had any luck doing this? It seems like it should be trivial but I can't get it to work over USB. I might try routing midi out of maschine to midi in on the NDLR but ideally that would be necessary.

I would like to suggest reserved NoteOn Midi-Numbers (one Octave) for changing the Key.
Same as the Chord Degree and Chord Type.

With this feature, we can also sequence Key-Changes with 'normal' sequencers like the Beatstep.

On top, it would be nice, if we can choose between 2 Modes:
C, G, D, A, E, B, F#, Db, Ab, Eb, Bb, & F (Quintencircle)
or
C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, Ab, A, Bb, & B (chromatic)

Hi there,

I just got my NDLR today. So far I have tried it with cubase and maschine but with no luck. I can see the 4 midi devices in both DAWs and have set, on settings-1 menu, the options to.

3all
4all

I have also tried the USB 1 2 3 4 options etc but nothing I try will send a midi output. I have set the clock to internal etc. When I send over Midi A into the maschine midi input then it works but over USB it won't work for me. I'm on firmware 60, I'll try updating tomorrow if that is the issue. 

I can't see what is going wrong. It's not any settings on my PC as I'm not getting a midi signal full stop (cubase has a little midi meter to show any incoming midi signal).

Here’s my first attempt after putting a few hours into the ndlr. Used the chord sequencer and a couple of mod matrix slots. Tons of fun, and looking forward to diving deeper into this setup.

Is there another way besides the chord sequencer to keep all chords Major?  I'd like to be able to do it realtime.  Thanks.
