what's the deal with pc drivers 13-16
Posted by: crx091081gb - 10-31-2021, 06:15 AM - Forum: Computer MIDI Connectivity - Replies (4)

If I read the manual right the PC in out has 12 configurable in/outs but my PC shows MRCC 1-16

What gives?

  Stuck notes
Posted by: joelbrave - 10-31-2021, 02:32 AM - Forum: General Support - Replies (2)

I have a fairly complex setup where the MRCC is connected to a Cirklon2 via the Cirklon’s device port USB2 and USB3 Virtual cables routed to physical port 2 to the TX816 and physical port3 to the DeepMind. Master keyboard is any that are input to the Cirklon2, or a Chordmonger input direct via USB B to the MRCC and routed to the Cirklon on physical USB A. I’m getting stuck notes on my TX-816 and my DeepMind. Midi Clock is being sent from the Cirklon to virtual USB3 (to the DeepMind) and to the MRCC Remote’s port 3 via virtual cable 4.

Any idea how to stop the stuck notes? Is it a bug in the MRCC that it seems to drop note-offs?

Joel

  Midi outs
Posted by: KrustyRox - 10-29-2021, 09:20 AM - Forum: MIDI Connectivity - Replies (1)

My NDLR only transmits note info on MIDI output 2 but not MIDI out 1
MIDI output 1 only transmits start/stop commands but MIDI out 1 does not.
This is definitely a flaw or defect.

  Standby bug
Posted by: jbdiver - 10-28-2021, 07:53 PM - Forum: General Support - Replies (1)

Access the assign label tool, select a port like output 10, press the green button to enter standby mode. The output 10 led stays lit which I do not think is expected.

Also, I managed to lock up the mrcc by switching standby on and off a few times. I haven’t been able to reproduce this system lock up consistently.

  Remote port labels
Posted by: jbdiver - 10-28-2021, 03:59 PM - Forum: General Support - Replies (13)

How do I assign a label to a remote port? I have the remote 7 box and I can setup routings. Each routing has a port name like r2 but the label is none. I can’t figure out how to set this label.

  Feature Requests
Posted by: HunniBunni - 10-25-2021, 04:28 PM - Forum: MRCC Feature Requests - No Replies

Hey Ya'll!

Been meaning to get more active on here.

-It would be great if the MRCC could become LINK (albleton, soundbrenner, etc) compatible. Even if required some type of dongle. That would also probably be great for those of us who need a more flexible clocking environment rather than a traditional downstream clocking approach.

-other color choices for I/O lights. They are blue and green but for instance, in my analogue studio, and on my computer, I globally use BLUE and PINK for all my other I/O labeling.

-Also, any plans for bluetooth midi I/O. Like one with those group SCA MIDI protocols like those CME WIDI plugs? Computer bluetooth for MIDI isn't ideal.

-It would be great if the display screen could optionally have a monitor connected for viewing the grid, full grid, or even dual sized grid (when using more than one MRCC). For example in live use, if I plugged in a 5" screen, it would be a lot easier on the fly.

-A polyphonic note repeater would be pretty cool. It feels like the missing link between the NDLR, arpeggiators, and the NDLR librarian.

Thanks guys!

  Assign labels
Posted by: jbdiver - 10-22-2021, 09:26 PM - Forum: General Support - Replies (9)

The assign labels feature on the MRCC seems broken to me or at least it's very non-intuitive. I'll assign a custom label I created to In Port 1, change to In Port 2 and see that same label now assigned. Except it's not actually assigned, the label field was just never updated when the port number was changed using the encoder. Now I assign a label for In Port 2 and change back to In Port 1 and see the same label I just previously assigned to In Port 2.

Some of the labels I assigned to ports don't appear when I set up routings. The labels just appear as none. Either I got confused when assigning labels or some of the assigned labels on ports were somehow cleared while I was assigning labels to other ports. I'm running the latest beta firmware.

Here's what I would expect to see while working with the assign label feature. If a port doesn't have a label assigned to it, the label value should be none when I select the port. If I assign a label to a port, the current label value should appear when I select that port. It should really be that simple.

  Not saving
Posted by: PaulaM - 10-21-2021, 09:15 AM - Forum: General Support - Replies (1)

I've updated to the latest firmware, and begun using my MRCC.
but whenever I power on it loads "Factory", when I try and save a routing I can select "User 1" , "User 2", etc (these are in red rather than green)
Then I move down to "SAVE" and press shift + encoder,
The LED on MIDI out 1 lights in red briefly, but nothing is saved.

If I try and load it, again I get the red LED on MIDI out 1.

powering off and back on and it loads the "Factory" routing again.

I have also tried a new SDCard, same problem.

Any suggestions?

ok, figured it out.. you use the black button on the right of the display rather than the encoder.

Sorry, senior moment.
