Chord change via midi keyboard
#1
Hi,
I would really like to be able to record the chord changes to one of my Ensoniq TS 10 sequencer tracks.
There is the key+ function - I'd like to propose a key++ function, where you can play full chords that the NDLR recognizes, like:
C E G for C major
C Eb G for C minor
C E (G) Bb for C7...
I think you know what I mean.
The cc programming is just too complicated for me.
Anybody that thinks that could be a good idea?

Great little box, though, this NDLR...yeah!

I totally like the idea. I'll add it as a feature request, but at this point the priority for NDLR updates is bug fixes at the moment, so it won't be something that comes about quickly, and may not happen at all.
Thanks for the great suggestion.

I don't have a NDLR (yet, but it's my birthday next week, so...), but this is something I would love to see in it! It's a killer feature by all means. Could and would it be provided as a firmware update?

I own multiple arrangers/transposing sequencers (Yamaha QY70, Korg Microarranger, Korg Pa3X, Roland RA800) and have been investigating their quirks as well as digging in the topic of chord recognition for quite some time, so if you need any help with building the chord recognition tables, I would be happy to be of service.
