MRCC needs powercycle in fully booted windows

I have a similar problem – on Mac OS. When I switch on the MRCC first and then connect it to the computer, it's not seen by Mac OS. Only after I power cycled the MRCC it shows up. Same behaviour on a 2019 MacBook Pro and a new M1 Max MacBook Pro. I hope this will be fixed asap because it's really annoying.
