How does the rotation algorithm work?

Hi,

Is there anyone who can tell me more about the 'rotation algorithm'-feature? It's under [shift+menu] encoder 2. But I haven't got a clue.

I already posted this in the advanced features-section of this forum, but it's a little quiet down there.

I didn't get a chance in my meeting with Steve to get a full demo, but the gist of it is that it uses the first 5 values of motif pattern 40 to implement the rotator functionality linked in the video. I will try to play with it tonight and see if I can discern its functionality to the point of giving a simple (potato quality) demonstration.
