Post: RE: NDLR KB Trans Question

Wow nice! Funny how he switched to the keyboard for the bass and pad after recording in NDLR motifs - the NDLR could have done that pad, too, no problem, and possibly even a similar bass. Could have t... |

Post: Transpose MIDI to Key, but NOT to Scale (fixed tra...
My understanding of how the NDLR transpose channel works is that it takes incoming midi notes from the key of C, and transposes them to the key and scale of the NDLR.
The idea is, presumably, that ... |

So I could not get CC #90 to work reliably, even with microtiming.
Microtiming fixes the start (the octatrack appears not to do what it is documented to do, if you set the plays free track to a... |

My concern is that if the issue is that the CC arrives after the note info in the data stream, as seems to be the case, won't there be a new problem ... |

I'll try to confirm whether the play all / pause all button does the same thing. CC #90 definitely appears to reset the clock.
Downstream midi devices are not out of sync. The NDLR is slaved to ano... |

More succinctly, maybe the issue is that starting the clock might sometimes start the parts (if they are already enabled but there is no clock), but enabling the parts should never start the clock. |
