Normal preset numbering?
#1
How about getting rid of the 3 user and letter banks system? Is there an advantagee to this I'm not seeing? When I use prog change to select the save location I want, the number on the screen is corrupted so I have no idea whether I have chosen the right one or not. I've had to make a spread sheet just to keep track. Wouldn't it just be simpler if the memory locations went 1 and up with the factory one in location 0?

Thx.

Steve added them as a way to have 3 blank templates to work from. This way you could potentially have 3 different use cases (stage, studio, bedroom for example) all with a different configuration of default settings, and be able to start from those and save to the other slots once you get somewhere you want to save. I see the benefit, but tend to agree that it would be better for me if the save slots matched the PC message number I have to send to load it. It's not my call though.
