I have connected a midi controller via USB. Device does not allow to change the midi channel, but I can do this using a MRCC modifier e.g. output CH1 change to CH2. It works well in some setups, but during jam, I would quickly change the output channel to another.
Setup:
- MRCC (no way!
- nanocontroller2, set internally to channel 1
- multi timbral synth controlled by midi
I set up routing from USB1 to SYNTH1, without modifier. The controller transmits CC information to CH1. Here I can create a modifier and replace it with CH2. However, during the jams, I need very quick changes, at most one-two buttons. I can define them before, but switching between them must be quick. And it's just about one connection, so I don't want to load another configuration.
I did not succeed in doing this, but maybe it is possible in virtual ports? A1-A4? Any other way?
Can it use the MRCC+1-12 button for immediate port changes?
