Ndlr & Oberheim DMX Setup
#1
Hi there,
I’ve had trouble syncing my Oberheim Dmx Rev.4 to any external midi source— seems like a midi loop all the time with the dmx going double the speed... so after days of trying different routing, isolating and so on - no luck.
So I thought I go down the route of clock signal—
So I want to use the clock out from the Ndlr to send to clock in on the DMX..
Dmx set to receive clock at 24
Ndlr set to send clock on 24 at 1/4,
Could this have something to do with mono output on the clock out on the ndlr?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Malte

Hey Malte,
I'm afraid I don't understand the question.
You're sending analog clock out of the NDLR, 24ppqn, with a 1/4 clock out div (doesn't that make it play slow?) and what happens on the DMX?
Could what have something to do with the Mono jack on the NDLR?
Glad to help if I can get my head around it.
Jesse
