usb midi to synth?

Hi all, eagerly awaiting my NDLR ,hopefully get it as they say end of sept  but have millions of ideas and questions so as they come into my head i may pester a few of you . the burning one just now is am I able to connect usb to synth? IE I have a blofeld as demo shows but i see it connected through 5pin midi. I also have an elektron A4 so wondered the same about this.

You would connect NDLR to your synths via 5 pin MIDI. You could potentially route MIDI from NDLR via USB thru your computer, but that would add latency and make things more complicated. However, if you want to record MIDI from NDLR in a DAW that would be the way to do it.
