Sending Laptop USB midi TO MRCC
#1
Hi

Conundrum here:

New Arturia Midi Controller is now USB C only (cheers Arturia) so...

1. Arturia to Macbook USB C

2. Macbook to Caldigit Hub USB C

3. Caldigit Hub to MRCC USA A to Host Port

What must I do to send USB Midi from 1 to 3?

Forgive me if I'm being thick but this device doesn't work the way my brain does...

Regards

AJ

I'm really not an expert at Mac setup, but I think this one may just be to open the audio MIDI setup program on the Mac and go to the Window -> MIDI studio selection from the top bar menu. Then connect the input of the input device up to the output of the output device with a little virtual patch cable.

Actually you may just see the MRCC in there since it's connected. Then to use that signal on the MRCC, press and hold the leftmost PC button while selecting the port number, it should be lit brighter after being selected. Then release and press the outputs you'd like to route that signal to.
