Gate control

I would love to use the pattern editor for gate length ,  also would like gates on the pad and drone .

I was coming here to open a topic for that! I'd like to see a gate time editor. First I thought that was what the rhythm editor would do since that is also the place to tie notes.

Maybe one of the hidden / not-implemented menus can be used for this?

Gate length control is definitely on the list of possible future enhancements. However, as everything was designed for legato, its going to be quite a chore to change it. Its not something we will get to soon.
