MRCC and Ableton Live 12

When I set up Midi tracks input or output to use the MRCC everything works till I save my set then come to open up again. The MIDI input/output selector text appears grey and I have to reselect the MRCC port and channel. This doesn't happen in Live 11 but also doesn't happen in Live 12 with my other MIDI devices, only the MRCC. So I can't tell if it's a Live 12 bug (of which there are many) or an MRCC bug but I'm here to ask if anyone else has the same problem and if they've found a solution. I'm on Windows, MRCC firmware 1.1.077.

I was able to recreate the issue. My findings were:

Live 10: 

I can close and open Live 10 suite as well as unplug and replug MRCC and it will play as expected (MRCC is recognized in either case). 

Live 12:
I can close and open Live 12 suite and the MRCC remains recognized across instances, however removing and reconnecting the USB between the PC and MRCC (or power cycling) causes Live to not recognize it and require editing of MIDI preferences to reinstate the connection. 

Sounds like this is probably a Live 12 issue.
