Will there ever be desktop software available to control MRCC?  Would be nice to be able to control it by a dedicated app on Windows 10/11.  Thank you!

We explicitly designed it not to be controlled from the computer. There are devices out there that offer that interface (Mio et al) that cover that base pretty well. Our goal was to make a device that you can program easily by hand. I do understand the interest, but it's probably not on the docket for something that will be implemented by us.
