Post: RE: CC message filtering

As I read Appendix C, 11 is the instruction number in the MIDI protocol for CC messages. Just like 8 is for Note Off and 9 is Note On. When we write CC11 (out of a list of more than 100), that is just...

It's difficult to give specific advice and guidance about live rigs, because they are all as individual as the people building them and playing them. That said, I'll offer up a couple comments based o...

Perhaps I'm reading your question wrong, but I think most of what you are asking for can be controlled by an external controller. Check page 51 of the manual for details.

I may not have the latest version of the manual, but in V1.1.020, pages 16 and 17 graphically show the same thing you discovered. There's more detailed text describing this on page 14.

OK. The manual makes no mention of receiving incoming MIDI data, so I downloaded the MIDI Implementation Chart and can see that it does respond to clock in and start/stop via USB MIDI. I have no idea ...

I just downloaded the Korg SQ-1 manual. There is no MIDI in jack on this device. Reading the small section on the USB jack, there is no mention of anything regarding receiving MIDI data, only sending ...

I don't work for Conductive Labs, but from what I've learned, the NDLR always sends notes in legato style. So, no, this feature is not currently available with the NDLR. Getting glissando, or slides, ...
