Thread: PAD gate signals
Post: RE: PAD gate signals
NDLR only connects via MIDI (either 5-pin DIN or USB). As such, there are only Note on/off signals. Gate state is implied by interpreting note on/off commands. |

Thread: Modulation Matrix Problem
Post: RE: Modulation Matrix Problem
I tried this out last night per description here. There was a stuck note every time I changed chord degree. I found this odd because I modulate the Pad position a lot. Or, to be emphatic, A LOT. And, ... |

Thread: Issues requiring a restart of the MRCC
Post: RE: Issues requiring a restart of the MRCC
Sounds like you are describing stuck notes. To clear out stuck notes, typical MIDI nomenclature is to push the Panic button. Panic will issue all notes off to connected instruments, making them quiet.... |

I find this to be an interesting question on the NDLR forum. It would almost seem like the expected answer would be the NDLR itself is the most fun non-traditional MIDI controller. I have three of wha... |

Thread: Midi mystery: NDLR with a Behringer Edge.
Post: RE: Midi mystery: NDLR with a Behringer Edge.
Personally, I suspect the envelopes of the Edge. All parts of the NDLR play in Legato mode, meaning there is very little time between Note Off and Note On. I measured it a long time ago, and it is som... |

Thread: CC message filtering
Post: RE: CC message filtering
As I read Appendix C, 11 is the instruction number in the MIDI protocol for CC messages. Just like 8 is for Note Off and 9 is Note On. When we write CC11 (out of a list of more than 100), that is just... |

Thread: Midi learn for functions.
Post: RE: Midi learn for functions.
Perhaps I'm reading your question wrong, but I think most of what you are asking for can be controlled by an external controller. Check page 51 of the manual for details. |

I may not have the latest version of the manual, but in V1.1.020, pages 16 and 17 graphically show the same thing you discovered. There's more detailed text describing this on page 14. |
