green, blue, and black buttons fell off - IndieMurph - 03-16-2025 When I recently got my MRCC in the mail, the green, blue, and black buttons were loose inside the packaging. I gently pushed them back on but when I turned the unit over, they fell off. Is this normal? Should I push harder to snap them in? Should I glue them on? I don't want to void the warranty or break the electronics inside, so I'm waiting to learn what I should do. Thanks! RE: green, blue, and black buttons fell off - bilalashraf510 - 04-27-2025 It’s definitely smart that you didn’t force them back in! I had a similar experience once — not with electronics like this, but with a vape device where parts didn’t click properly. Best to avoid glue, as it can void the warranty. I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer for advice first. Hope you get it sorted quickly! RE: green, blue, and black buttons fell off - Jesse Johannesen - 04-28-2025 So the button caps snap onto some square topped tactile switches inside the device, if they all 3 came off, it was probably that the circuit board got pushed to one side enough to pop them off. It sounds to me like it was probably the result of a rather hard bump during shipping. We've taken steps to prevent this from happening, but it could still occur. Go ahead and send me an email at support@conductivelabs.con and we can discuss what to do to get it sorted out. It may be we can just open it up together over a video call and get it fixed. |
