Thread: SysEx problems
Post: RE: SysEx problems
I did some more research – and it's a size problem. Small SysEx messages are transferred/received correctly. But when an entire TEO-5 sound program is transferred (4,7 k) it doesn't work via MRCC.

Post: SysEx problems
Is anyone here using MRCC successfully with a SysEx heavy software like a Librarian?
I have a TEO-5 connected to MRCC Port C (routed to PC port 9 In/Out) – and I'm getting constant error messages o... |

I never used the analog clock out yet, but now I have a pedal that requires a 5V clock (Fieldtone Weaver). I was surprised/disappointed to read that it's not possible to translate an incoming MIDI Clo... |

Thread: Osmose – 2 virtual USB MIDI I/O ports
Post: RE: Osmose – 2 virtual USB MIDI I/O ports
Any news on this topic? Would it really require to change the underlying architecture of MRCC? It's hard to see why. |

I got an Osmose, and it provides two virtual MIDI In/Out ports via USB. Virtual IN port 2 is always connected to Osmoses internal sound engine, so if I want to send recorded MIDI to the Osmose sound e... |

Post: Blue LEDs on/off status
On my MRCC it's often hard to tell if a PC OUT Port LED is lit (blue) or dim (pink). The difference is really subtle – even if I look at it from different angles. I tried all LED brightness levels, bu... |

Wow, I just found this by chance while searching for a solution to filter out all channels but one for a specific routing. Thanks for the hack-y tip. It works indeed, but it would be better to solve t... |

Hi Jesse,
thanks, no worries – and yes, I'm on the latest beta firmware 1.1.052.
I agree with your philosophy. That's why I'll just go with 5-pin MIDI for now. I would prefer USB MIDI for severa... |

if you take a look at my first sentence: "I have an Elektron Syntakt connected via 5-pin MIDI to MRCC..."
It's the Torso T1 which is connected via USB, not the Syntakt.

The Prophet 5/10 rev4 doesn't work with MRCC via USB. I reported that months ago. It should be deleted from the list of compatible devices. (No problems via 5-pin MIDI.) |

Yes, the MIDI port names are provided by the device. Unfortunately renaming is not possible in every DAW. Live for instance doesn't offer renaming of MIDI ports. |

I finally I found a mini hub that works with Mac USB C. You can unplug/replug it or the cable on either side and MRCC reappears.
