Power Requirements - mjchase - 11-18-2019

Hi Darryl and Steve,

I'm planning on putting my MRCC on my pedalboard. In the hopes of having less power connections to make, I'm hoping the MRCC could draw power from the power supply I already have on the board. Do you guys know what the power draw might be and if it could run off a 400 mA 9V connection?

And a followup: the MRCC should be able to power something like the Squarp Pyramid sequencer (https://squarp.net/pyramid), which is powered by a 5V 500mA mini USB connection?

Thanks!

This could change, but currently on the prototype and going into the next rev design it takes 5V 2.5A (or better) power supply. The USB hub requires 2A for USB 2 standard power requirement of 500mA per port. So Yes, it would power the Pyramid, or 4 Pyramids  Big Grin

Wonderful, I figured it'd be fine. Thanks!
