Importing to UK - rob-ant - 09-09-2019 Hi. Just ordered the NDLR. Can anyone tell me about the cost of importing into the UK and the procedure? Is all the documentation provided? Thanks Rob RE: Importing to UK - Regrib - 09-10-2019 Not sure how the UK works but in Holland customs will hold the package in 'hostage' and send you an invoice for tax + some extra costs. When you pay the invoice they release the package. The whole process can take up to 2 weeks. If you are lucky they don't check it and just forward it to you without additional costs. RE: Importing to UK - Darryl - 09-10-2019 Here's a link that describes the process. https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad RE: Importing to UK - rob-ant - 09-10-2019 (09-10-2019, 02:13 PM)Darryl Wrote: Here's a link that describes the process. Thanks, seen that but doesn't tell you much about how it works - what they do to contact you, how long it takes etc. I think it'll be like Regrib described but will take 6 weeks rather than 2. RE: Importing to UK - Tim Wilson - 09-10-2019 There's an import tax surcharge of around £30 in the UK. You'll get a note from the post person and have to pick it up where you can pay the charge. Oh yes, I've had UK customers tell me they receive a card in the post. The card includes a link to a site for paying online. So far we've never had a parcel rejected passing UK customs. We have had more problems with German customs, so we ship DHL to Germany now which seems to help. RE: Importing to UK - rob-ant - 09-11-2019 Thanks for the reply's. Now for patience..... RE: Importing to UK - Goon - 11-04-2019 Got mine today after UK customs charged me £68 ![]() RE: Importing to UK - Jeet - 11-04-2019 Hello, new here. Contributed in October to get a NDLR. I left questions on the Conductive Labs site about possible ship date, but no response. I did read on here the recent progress with the newest batch and the news that October contributions will be longer. Do things remain the same? I would just like to keep up to date as much as possible, so I joined up here. It seems I'm waiting on everything. Waiting on things to ship for the NDLR to control as well. |
