Issues requiring a restart of the MRCC - DigitalAnalogDaily - 12-15-2024 Over the last few months of owning the MRCC, I've found that it frequently requires restarting both the hardware connected and the unit. This tends to be required more for hardware connected via USB but happens with DIN connections as well. Hardware list: Hydrasynth - 5-pin - In/Out Elektron Digitakt 2 - 5-pin - In only Elektron Syntakt - 5-pin - In Only Elektron Octatrack - 5-pin - In/Out Waldorf Iridium Desktop - trs(mrcc)/5-pin(Iridium) - In/Out Arturia Keystep Pro - USB - In/Out Windows 11 - USB PC Main - In/Out I've had to turn off the MRCC several times because the signal is not stopping. This could be due to a lack of experience and understanding, which is why I'm coming here to see if others have similar issues. If so, is restarting things just the normal path to enlightenment? Joshua RE: Issues requiring a restart of the MRCC - House de Kris - 12-19-2024 Sounds like you are describing stuck notes. To clear out stuck notes, typical MIDI nomenclature is to push the Panic button. Panic will issue all notes off to connected instruments, making them quiet. On the MRCC, to hit the Panic button, just press and hold the Shift and press the Encoder button. This is found on page 19 of the manual. Shouldn't have to power cycle your instruments or MRCC. |
