Chords not in the key - Stuey99 - 10-10-2024 Sorry if this has already been covered (I'm new to the NDLR I couldn't find out). Can a chord that's not in the key of the song be used to replace a current one? For example we play a song in the key of B but there's also a A major in there too. If this is possible - can it then be saved as a preset as such? Thank you for any info. In my opinion this is not possible, but of course you can change the scale via MIDI and in the new scale choose the appropriate chord RE: Chords not in the key - Jesse Johannesen - 10-23-2024 Racecube is correct. The only way is to change scales or key. It's possible to do that with CCs from an external device. The real problem is that NDLR sends an all notes off message when changing scales/keys so it can be jarring if your pad notes get cut off that way, with just motifs going though this is much less of an issue. |
