Chaining chords / chord pattern - 190531085100 - 06-14-2019 Hi all, Is there a possibility to chain chord buttons in any way? I was wondering if I could invoke a sequence like V (3 times) - VII (10 times) - II (8 times) and have the NDLR follow this pattern. Is this what Mod Destinations can be used for? Thanks! 190531085100 RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - Darryl - 06-15-2019 For sure you can use a modulator to trigger chords. You can also create a pattern and use it as a modulation waveform for a more specific and synced chord trigger. You can also sequence chords from an external sequencer connected to a MIDI input on The NDLR. Ultimately though, we plan to add a chord sequencer to The NDLR which will provide deliberately timed chord sequencing. RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - wyndryder - 06-15-2019 Darryl, any timeframe on when that chord sequencer update may come? RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - Fesster - 06-19-2019 Did somebody say "Chord Sequencer?!" :o) That would be noooice! RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - Darryl - 06-19-2019 We should have a rough idea of timing late next week. But I agree - the preview of the chord sequencer in the latest newsletter looks great! RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - Darryl - 07-03-2019 Steve finished the MIDI Controller feature today, and started on the chord sequencer! Excited! RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - 190531085100 - 07-11-2019 Synthdad, thank you for the video! This is extremely helpful. The only sequencers available to me right now are the SQ-1 and the Circuit. I will try to recreate your setup. RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - Darryl - 07-25-2019 If you didn't happen to see it, the Chord Sequencer beta release is in the beta release FW section... https://conductivelabs.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=10 The updated manual on conductivelabs.com has the instructions for how to use the new features. RE: Chaining chords / chord pattern - Tim Wilson - 07-29-2019 Away from home at the moment so not able to try out the new features. I'm surprised there hasn't been more reaction and I'm looking forward to trying this out. I see the increments on the chord sequencer are quantised to 1/8ths. I'm curious to know how many 8ths you can choose. Does it go up to 32 or more? Presumably the note length is at present - keep playing till the next chord? Come on you lurkers, what do you think of the chord sequencer? |
