Choosing a shipping carrier to the US - Nelson Baboon - 08-06-2021 Maybe this is relevant only to my area - I'm in San Francisco. For my first MRCC, I chose DHL, which is the cheapest method. It took 2 weeks to arrive, of which for 10 of these, it was out for delivery each day, and just didn't arrive. I got the excuse multiple times that the driver "couldn't finish the route"...... For my second one, I chose to spend about $15 more and go with UPS. It arrived in 3 days from the day I placed my order. I have had issues with DHL before, and I would highly recommend that you spend more and go ups (probably fedex is better than dhl also). I'm not sure about whether this is particular to the Bay Area, but I found the entire experience with DHL (and their support played a role in this) to be pretty awful. RE: Choosing a shipping carrier to the US - Jesse Johannesen - 08-07-2021 Sorry to hear that, my experience in Portland OR has been the opposite. I can set my watch to DHL deliveries, and I would shoot myself before I would deal with FEDEX voluntarily again. UPS is fine. Jesse |
