SysEx buffer size - Joris Röling - 06-19-2021

I read in the MRCC manual (page 46) 

System Exclusive: "There is a 256 byte max size buffer."

Surely this is not true... (I hope!)

Yep Steve said 4k. There are a few typos in the manual still.

Is there any chance you could increase this? The TX802 and TX81Z bulk dumps are around 4.5k and Soundquest is complaining of dropped bytes, it works for all the other data so I’m pretty sure it’s the MRCC sysex buffer crapping out that is causing me trouble.

Seems you've posted about the same thing in three places which doesn't make it easy to follow. I've replied on another thread you posted to with a firmware you can try,
