RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.071 March 2023 - ekkomouse - 04-22-2023 I didn’t realize this was out, I made comments on the older beta thread about transpose not saving were they received? RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.071 March 2023 - ekkomouse - 04-23-2023 I updated firmware an in an attempt to chase down and remove clock jitter, I changed my setup and rewired a couple inputs and outputs. Im now running into assignment limitations (which may have been there before, I just happened to be reassigning a bunch of stuff bouncing back/forth within a prior setup), basic input to output assignment limitations. I don't think im being excessive and am able to send my primary preset if that is possible, I am also unable to assign transpose as I could in the prior beta, I have gone through and removed prior transpose assignments and was setting up on the new input assignment, but it seems like I can't assign the same number of TP1 assignments. Edit: Power cycling just allowed me to add more transpose assignments, but input to output limitations are still present, it only lets me assign to 7 more outputs. Should I email support or start a new thread? Are there limitations you can share that are not in the manual, number of assigned inputs to outputs and mod assignments? Transpose 2 Mod doesn't save with the preset, it resets to 0. RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.071 March 2023 - ekkomouse - 05-03-2023 Im having another issue with the latest firmware, I have a 3 USB to midi adapters hooked to USB A/B/C and on turn on, the USB ports randomly dont function, I generally have to unplug the midi adapters, then plug them in one by one to get the USB light to register. When its unlit, no midi data is received by MRCC, but the adapters are powered and receiving data from my sequencer. RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.071 March 2023 - oldgearguy - 05-03-2023 Could be the power on sequence makes the MRCC think it has to provide power and the draw is too much in that moment. Typically the USB A port supplies the power. I'm not sure I've seen DIN MIDI to USB cables where the cable drew power from the DIN side. RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.071 March 2023 - Jesse Johannesen - 05-04-2023 Go ahead and send me an email at Support@conductivelabs.com if you ever "need" me to see it, there are a few screwy things that can happen that make it so new posts occasionally slip past me and the search functionality on the forum doesn't include a way to look at posts chronologically by "ALL", I have to include a search term. My work around has been to search for words like "the" as most posts will include them, but it isn't foolproof. I think Tom's right that the power from the adaptors is provided on the USB side. I don't know what exactly is causing that to be problematic, but I have found most of those USB to midi cables to be a little unpredictable. It seems like some minor incompatibility is present. You'll probably have to just unplug them and plug them back in if that is what is working now, unfortunately. The maximum number of routings at the moment is either 42 or 48, (I forget which), so if you try to add any more after that they will fail to appear. I am trying to get Steve to add a notification to the screen that will let you know when that happens. RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.075 - mrcc_user12123 - 09-19-2023 If I install new firmware, are the user settings deleted? If so, how can I save it beforehand and recover them after firmware update? RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.075 - ekkomouse - 09-30-2023 It looks like your official firmware on the website is 1.1.073, or is it supposed to be 1.1.075? Also I dont think im getting notifications from your forum, although I am subscribed to them. RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.075 - Jesse Johannesen - 10-06-2023 I believe that we've updated the code so that fw updates don't overwrite user data so you should be able to update safely, the current official release is 1.1.073, the newer one will become the official release once we've it out long enough to confirm it's not buggy (it's fine so far). RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.075 - mrcc_user12123 - 12-10-2023 Installation of MRCC_v1.1.075 firmware has worked perfect without any problems. User settings still exists!. Perfect job! thx RE: MRCC Firmware Update 1.1.075 - User - 06-01-2024 Has firmware development been abandoned? Will there be any more firmware updates? |
