Not sure if this is correct section to post a bug
Please hookup blofeld to midi A
1. go to  rhythm editor
2. Changing velocity on a step
3. The machine “chokes” and send out some midi
4. Blofeld chokes by too many MIDI messages or tempo request messages
This does not happen with JD-XI but I can see that display behaves erratically while changing velocity for a step

Let me know if you have further question
Ok, we'll take a look. Could be we are outputting some CC for that control that Blofeld doesn't like.

I don't have a Blofeld handy, but watching the MIDI output with MIDI-ox and not seeing anything strange while changing the rhythm velocity value. When no notes are playing, there is no MIDI output while changing the value. When notes are playing, there's just note output and the velocity is changing for the rhythm step that's being adjusted.

When you say the machine chokes, are you saying something strange is happening on The NDLR? Its normal for some parts of the display to redraw when certain parameters are changed.
Could the Blofeld have velocity mapped to something in its mod matrix?
Do you have any NDLR modulations running? Try pausing them with Shift "MOD" button, which is the top left white button.
