Hi there,

Just wondering if it's possible to have one part (drone or otherwise) stay on a particular chord while the other 3 parts shift?

ie the drone part stays on the I chord, and the pad and motif parts shift as I either sequence or press other chords?

Yes, the the drone part can do this. In fact any of the drone trigger patterns that are not preceded by 5 circles will play on the I Chord Degree. The circles indicate that it will play in whatever Chord Degree is selected.

Ok great - can other parts do this too? So Drone, Pad and motif 1 don't shift while motif 2 does?

Motif patterns can be set to Chord, Scale, or Chromatic. ONLY Chord mode responds to the Degree buttons pressed. Check page 48 of the manual.
